Country French Apple Crescent Casserole…

I’ve made this recipe a few times over the last few months and it really has gone down a treat.  A scoop of ice-cream and wow.

Tesco is currently selling the Pillsbury crescent rolls on a 2 for 1 offer.  😉

It might be time to do a few more of those Pampered Chefy thingies !

Top Tip: – Don’t forget the rolls freeze well.

They’ve got a great web-site for ideas.

We’ve also made the Chocolate Macaroon Crescent Bars and let’s just say they didn’t go to waste.

So what’s your favourite use of the Pillsbury rolls then?

  1. I use Pillsbury rolls with a recipe that combines egg, bulk sausage, and cheese. You spread out the crescent dough on a Pampered Cheff bar pan (you need two tubes of crescents) beat the eggs, add a little milk to them and reserve them. Then, you brown the bulk sausage and spread it out on the pan, adding the cheese next. Then, I pour the milk/egg combination overtop and bake. It’s kind of like pizza, and quiche combined. If you want, I can e-mail you the entire recipe.
