I’m just messing round with the background to get something that suits me. If you’re looking for the recipe link pages or the reading pages they are on the side bar now instead of at the top

Yes, that’s right I’m half way there to-day and rejoicing to have made it this far!
I can’t help to-day but wonder if I will make it to 40 weeks. I haven’t made it to full-term with any of my pregnancies, wow to think that this time 20 weeks it could be all over.
Energy levels have increased 100% which is a blessing and so I’m celebrating by doing loads of spring cleaning!!
The Barnabas Award
April 3, 2009 at 12:46 pm (Blogging)
Way back in February (have we done February) Susanna very kindly awarded me with a Barnabas Award.

At the time I assured Susanna I would get around to posting it and passing it on.
Thanks so much Susanna for this gracious award, I assure you the fact that I have taken so long to post about this has no reflection of my appreciation of it.
Susanna has two young kiddies and remembers what pregnancy sickness is so I think she understands, you can read her blog here.
This award hails from Lizzie at A Dusty Frame and can I just say that if you don’t read Lizzie’s blog you really should. She displays a gentle and quiet spirit amidst her ongoing trial.
Here are the rules for the award
*Link back to the person who gave you the award.
*Use my graphic (leaving my blog address on it)
*Share it with anyone who encourages you whether or not their blog is “spiritual”.
“Barnabas worked with the Apostle Paul.
We remember him for his encouragement and generosity. In this spirit, I’d like to let you know that you are a Barnabas in my life. Thank you!”
I don’t read so many blogs now so I’m just going to award a couple of these.
Firstly to Kim, at The Upward Call. Kim’s was one of the first blogs I ever read and I’m still reading – she must be doing something right
Kim thanks for being a faithful blogger and encourager and also for being my friend. If you would like to sample one of Kim’s blog posts try this recent one which is a real Kim post for me!
Secondly to Elaine B, she’s quite new to the blogging world, but she’s been blogging like mad. For those of you who drop by here because you know I live in Ireland and that gives you a romantic gushy feeling you really should read Elaine B’s blog. She’s also a NI lass now living in California and as she says herself “since moving to the USA somehow you become more Irish“!! Elaine is my previous Pastor’s wife and was an encouragement to me for years, now she is still encouraging long distance thanks to modern technology. Thanks Elaine!
Ladies – feel free to have your own award ceremony!
P.S. I haven’t quit blogging… or here comes another rambling post :-)

I know it seems that way but honest I haven’t thrown the towel in just yet.
A few have been asking if I followed JP’s example and quit blogging. While I totally understand his reasons for giving up, my blog just isn’t that easy done away with
You can check out his reasons here. The whole thing is quite ironic really as since posting that blog post he has become somewhat of a celebrity blogger. Well ok maybe not “celebrity” but he has received e-mails from celebrity bloggers and his stats have gone through the roof. Perhaps I could get him to write guests posts for me to boost my stats. Any topic suggestions? It just makes me smile really.

Smiling is good for you.
I’m 17 weeks to-day and am very thankful to be feeling as well as I do. I had about 10 weeks there which I really don’t want to remember and actually I’m not sure if I can remember much of it
The sun is good for you too.
It has been lovely and sunny here for quite a few days now and it’s great just to feel like doing housework and getting out into the garden again. It feels like life is getting back to normal.
The kids are off school for two weeks from to-day, lets hope this weather lasts. It won’t matter though as there will still be people wearing shorts in our seaside towns over the Easter weekend, no matter what the weather
Happy Easter All!
