It rained….
…we all knew it would.
It was only a little this morning, regardless we’ve had a very pleasant week here weather wise.
We started off with a Bank Holiday on Monday.
We were thankful to get out of the house after some sickness on Sunday night!
We took a trip to Castlerock.
This is the kiddymacs on the pier at Castlerock looking over at the Portstewart Strand.
The above was taken before they drenched themselves paddled in the water.
(The trousers hanging out to dry).
Another day of being unprepared for a beach trip.
No-one cared we all had fun
The rest of the week was spent enjoying the weather and having JP around a lot more than usual.

Last night saw the Sunday School teachers taking a trip to one of the best Christian Book Distributors in Northern Ireland where we gathered up the prizes for our Prize night in June.
I believe this is the first time I was able to browse in this shop without buying a single book for myself. I have way too many books on the go right now. I feel like a recovering alcoholic does walking into a pub without ordering a drink.
The whole way home I was thinking “I actually didn’t buy a book” - it’s a long road to recovery

I’m enjoying spending less time blogging by using the google reader, but I’m finding that because I’m using it I’m definitely not taking the time to click on over and leave a comment.
Does anyone else find that?
It’s kind of like just looking in through your friends windows instead of knocking the door and sitting round their table for a chat.
Anyway all this is to say - I’m still here even though life has changed somewhat, I haven’t got rid of all the weeds from our garden yet and even though I haven’t left a comment on your blog that doesn’t mean that I’m not hearing what you’re saying.
Regards
Mummymac.

Ah, yes, it is indeed strange to leave without buying a book!!! I know the feeling.
