Going Green…

well kind off…..

I’m joining Kim in green photos as there is just so much green going on round here :-)

contrary to the weather reports we are having a lovely Saturday.  So it’s outside for the gardeners….

There is lots of planting going on to-day.

This little seedling was just planted last Saturday – any guesses as to what it is?

This cactus has a plenty of new growth despite my non-green fingers.

A very tired spade :-)

For other green photos check out Anna Carson Photography

Hope I haven’t broken any of the rules :-)

Have a green weekend.

Mummymac.

I’m DESPERATE to plant my garden but I’m not “suppose” to here until more like May 20th. I can live vicariously through you, I suppose.

What are you planting this year??

Nothing much greener than gardening. I especially like your picture of the seed packets for some reason. Hope your day stays nice and you get lots of green things planted.

I guess that your little seedling is a courgette. Are there any prizes for getting it right?

Considering the fact that I told you what it was, during your visit on Friday, I think asking for a prize was a little unfair ;-)

I thought it was a zucchini.

How did you take the photo of the spade and the fence? Did you climb a tree?

    : D

Oh, and I second the seed packets as my favorite of the pictures.

So happy spring has sprung in Ireland!

    Dear Elaine,

I am having problems with my window box.

I have tried so hard each year to grow some rhubarb so that I can make some jam but nothing seems to happen.

    I desperately need your help!

Kim if you check here you will see that the fence actually isn’t climbable!!

that’s last years plot at about the same time of the year.

Big Mal: I think you may actually need to talk to Monty Don, next time he’s over I’ll give him your number

In the meantime fill you window boxes in with concrete (you’re good at that) and buy a few pots of jam to display in them, think creative ;-)
