Can’t sleep?

wfmwheader_162.jpgI used to be an expert sleeper. No problems whatsoever. When my head hit the pillow I was a gonner. Then I had kids. That changed everything. I had one particular kid who decided not to be a dream baby and continued to need his mother 3-4 times a night until he was over a year. (yawn) It’s a good recipe for Insomnia.

One thing that I do try to help me get to sleep I’ve been unconsciously doing since I was a child. My mother, if she heard me tossing and turning would alway say “Turn your pillow over”. Yea I know it’s simple but when you’ve been lying on the pillow for a while, it gets all hot and bothered just like you do, turning over your pillow gives you a nice cool side to lie on.

I’m not sure if this is the complete answer but I sure do like a nice fresh feeling pillow and so although this may not work for you it certainly works for me.

Yea – I do this too!! (So does T) It’s great!

How do you get to sleep, though, with an overactive fetus??!!

I love this tip! My mom used to say the same thing but I guess I’ve forgotten over the years. :)

Hey thanks for visiting me – I loved the Scripture memory idea too – we are having fun with it – I am constantly thinking up a cartoon in my head now whenever I come across a new Scripture I want us to learn! ( :
I do the pillow thing too – but more because I am a slobberer!! ) : LOL

    Warmly,
    Mandi

Thanks ladies I guess I knew it wasn’t brain surgery but it’s just one of those things that
you wonder if everyone else in the world does or not ;-)

Tnn2833 – I reckon you just keep telling yourself that the sleep pattern is going
get worse before it gets better. Sorry hope I haven’t ruined your day.

jpslauen – I guess that makes us twins.

Mandi – I’m a slobberer too – something else we have in common – I just wasn’t going to
    mention that
